A word from Keith
FOUNDER OF WAKEFIELD PETS
Born and raised in New Jersey, I moved to Raleigh with my family in 2021. I was in the business world for the better part of 20 years, mostly in finance, but have always had a love of animals, especially dogs. There was even a time when I’d considered opening a boarding facility!
After earning my real estate license and relocating to North Carolina, I took an unconventional approach to building connections and getting to know the area: opening a Rover account. It became the perfect way to meet new people — and their pets — while exploring my new community.
The rest, as they say, is history! After great success on Rover, I decided to pursue pet care full-time and haven’t worked a day since. I love what I do and work tirelessly to provide top care for my clients and neighbors.
As an aspiring trainer guided by mentors like Cesar Millan and Steve Del Savio, I’m passionate about fostering love, respect and leadership. My goal is to help clients build deeper relationships with their furry family members. I’m also a big believer in feeding our fur-babies the best foods possible, advocating for non-corporate food and even raw or cooked real food.
